Thank you StemTree of Columbia!
Our team had a lot of fun connecting with everyone we met at the Joint Base Andrews Air Show on September 14, 2025! The energy was high, the skies were full of cool jets and planes, and our team had an amazing time sharing the power of FIRST with the community! We spoke with lots of people, from curious kids who might become future FIRST participants to military families who visited our booth. It was inspiring to connect with so many people who share a love for technology and robotics! Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, the organizers of the air show for having us, and FIRST Chesapeake for letting us have a opportunity to participate in a great outreach event. We can't wait to come back and do it all over again!
Thanks to Polymaker for giving us resources to create our limelight mount for our FTC robot! We impacted a total of 149 people during this experience!
A huge thank you to the professionals from Johns Hopkins APL who led our soldering workshop! Our teammates had a fantastic and fun time learning this valuable skill. We appreciate your enthusiasm for teaching and spending valueble time with us!
We had lots of fun visiting the Maryland Robotics Center! We learned so much from the college students about their competitions and their work with robots. We got to see some cool robots in action that they made there.
Thank you so much Maryland Robotics Center for letting us come! We are so grateful that we were able to come and have these experience's.
We were able to have design reviews with Gear Rotation and Equilibrium.exe. Their feedback helped our design a lot and we were able to fix any problems they helped us find and fix things we weren't able to detect.
Thank you so much Gear Rotation and Equilibrium.exe for helping us and doing a design review! Please visit their websites here, Gear Rotation's website and Equilibruim.exe's website
We hosted a scrimmage at the Howard County Miller Branch Library where 4 other teams attended and about 50 people were there. After a few technical difficulties we were able to make it there safely. This was a huge success and we are so grateful for the other 4 teams who showed up. We had a lot of fun practicing with other teams and experiencing what a scrimmage is like.
Thank you so much to the teams Sonic Bots, Dragoneers, Apex and Gunston School Honey Nut Gearios for coming. We had a great time.
